MODERN TRENDS IN THE USE OF SMART TECHNOLOGIES IN HIGHER EDUCATION

Анотація

Education is one of the fastest-growing industries, both in terms of content, technology and teaching methods. The emergence of e-learning, the introduction of the principles of lifelong learning, including the use of distance learning technologies and e-learning technologies, entails fundamental changes in society, changing the usual practices of communication, work, leisure, entertainment and, of course, education. “E-learning” is being replaced by a new phenomenon – “Smart Education”. E-learning as a simple technology is being replaced by intellectually rich technology. Some empirical research shows that educators can increase student engagement in learning by not only using ICT in the auditorium but also by encouraging students to use the Internet and smart technologies.
