Анотація

The formation of foreign language competence of students in reading is an integral part of studying in foreign specialties of higher education institutions. Methodology of forming foreign language competence in reading engaged rich (M.Z. Biboletova, J.M. Berman, S.V. Gaponova, Z.I. Klitschnikova, E.V. Musnitskaya, K.I. Onishchenko, V.V. Chernysh et al.), the problem can not be considered finally solved, as they need to clarify the characteristics of foreign language competence in reading, the purpose of its formation in students of secondary school, the stages of forming competence in reading.
