ENERGY SECURITY: RETHINKING THE PARADIGM

Анотація

Energy is a driver of progress and development in any society. In today's world, almost every sphere of activity requires significant energy consumption to maintain the level of well-being achieved. Since energy is a limited resource by its nature, a set of problems arises related to its production, ensuring energy efficiency of industry and households, and creating new, cost-effective ways to generate it. It should be recognized that energy security is an indisputable priority for ensuring the competitiveness of open economies in the digitalization era. It is not surprising that states strive to use all types of energy rationally and economically for themselves, given their cost and availability. This is the key to ensuring energy and economic sovereignty and competitiveness of the national economy [1]. This problem is especially important for Ukraine during martial law and the postwar period [2].
